Final tests
The body received from the paint shop was prepared for beginning of the assembly. Various rubber protective rings for electric installation cables and connectors were installed the first in the technological holes.
Electrical instruments and other components were assembled as well as verified before installation in the car.
Various systems modules were assembled of the recovered and delivered parts. Assembly of the air conditioning module was completed. Passenger compartment ventilation and heating system was assembled.
Electrical wiring installation in the engine compartment was started. Electrical system connected with the central wiring harness was installed in the passenger compartment.
Assembly conductor used in the course of the restorations works was removed from the repaired body on the lifts in the workshop. Immediately thereafter, both pre-assembled axles were installed on the body.
Steering gear and steering system lever was installed in the engine compartment. Steering column with steering wheel was installed inside, thus, receiving a car already controlled, but temporarily moving only by the power of muscles.
