Actual report

The structural phase of the Mercedes Benz 280SL w113 restoration at Riga Master Workshop is proceeding with the assessment and remediation of the exterior panels. This week, we started the car body repair with repair of the aluminium hood, a process requiring high-precision metalwork to address structural deformities and oxidation.
As documented in the technical photographs and video, our technicians focused on the hood's leading edges and internal reinforcements, which exhibited localized cracking and historical damage. The work involved precision shaping of the aluminium substrate and the refurbishment of specialized mounting hardware to ensure factory-standard fitment and panel gaps.
