Actual report
The structural phase of the Mercedes Benz 300SEL3,5 w109 1972 restoration at Riga Master Workshop is proceeding with the remediation of the rear chassis. This week, our technicians continue the bodywork work on the car, focusing on the trunk area and rear quarter panels.
We successfully restored the rear part of the car, addressing localized corrosion around the taillight apertures and the rear valance. The process involved fabricating steel patches and precisely aligning the rear panel seams. Using a specialized rotisserie, we also inspected the underbody integrity to ensure structural stability. We share the photos of this work to document these technical milestones.
