The interior reassembly of the Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 6.3 w109 restoration at Riga Master Workshop is shifting focus toward the complex dashboard systems. This week, we installed the restored air condition control unit and integrated its ancillary ducting into the cockpit infrastructure.
As shown in the progress photographs, our specialists overhauled the main dashboard padded upper frame, repairing structural cracks and fitting the reconditioned ventilation flap levers and vacuum switch valves. The chrome-trimmed directional air louvers and internal distribution vents were thoroughly cleaned and reassembled. Following the preparation of the central air distribution duct, the entire upper dashboard assembly was aligned and securely bolted into position over the newly installed insulation mats.
