Actual report
The technical Mercedes Benz 220S w180 restoration at Riga Master Workshop is advancing through the final chassis calibration phase. Following initial road evaluations, we focused on the complete refurbishment of the vehicle's rolling gear.
This week, our technicians restored, assembled, balanced and installed the wheels of the car. The process included refinishing the steel rims in factory-correct black, overhauling the original hubcap mounting clips and springs, and fitting period-accurate whitewall tires. Some photos of the progress made document these finishing details. Now we need to alignment them to factory specifications before we continue the test drives.
