Actual report
The technical Mercedes Benz 250SL w113 restoration at Riga Master Workshop has progressed to the systematic removal of the vehicle's interior climate control systems. This week, our technicians successfully removed the aircondition unit, which required the careful disassembly of the lower dashboard console and the disconnection of associated refrigerant lines and electrical connections.
As documented in the technical photographs, the entire under-dash evaporator housing and blower assembly were extracted to facilitate a complete inspection of the transmission tunnel and firewall structures. This phase is essential for assessing the underlying metal condition and preparing the cabin for structural restoration. Here are the photos of the process.
