The technical report concludes the project log for the Audi UrQuattro restoration.
This week we finished the test drives, made small repairs and send the car to the owner. Technicians carried out road testing, performed final ignition tuning with a new distributor cap, rotor, and high-tension leads, and corrected minor mechanical details before loading the coupe onto the transport truck.
The main work task trusted by owner to us was the car bodywork as the rear left wheel touched the fender during the steep turning, repainting the car body with later assembling. We resolved the arch clearance geometry, applied a full body respray, and aligned all panels. All these works was done in the earlier agreed budget of the 65,000 eiro.
Want to note that the task entrusted to us by the car owner is to repair and paint the body. Therefore, all removed parts are reinstalled without restoration, only repaired as necessary.
The last two photos from the owner, as the car passed German TUV and he is happy with result and the car drive.
