Restoration process
The Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 6.3 W109 restoration at Riga Master Workshop is progressing with the continued assembly of interior systems. As illustrated in these photographs, we focused this week on installing the restored ventilation system outlets and air ducts into the newly painted body shell. This involved fitting the main ducting and meticulously routing the associated wiring and dashboard components. The old, degraded ventilation parts (as seen in some disassembly photos) have been replaced with restored or new components to ensure correct air flow and temperature control.
