Initial condition and work order

Received for restoration vehicle was drivable and generally complete.

There were all, important for restoration, components present in the engine compartment.

Dashboard was almost completely equipped with all necessary instruments, though visual appearance of the trimming was far below average.

To hide worn out areas many leather-trimmed panels were over-sprayed by carelessly selected paint and rust spots on body panels took cover of chromed decorations.

Installed air conditioning unit and radio were out of period.

Car was equipped with spare tyre and toolkit.

Restoration contract of Bentley S1 (1957) *B132LEG* anticipated disassembling, complete restoration and assembling of the car, as far as possible preserving existing original components and parts.
