Body cleaning and restoration

 Engine compartment was completely cleared from wires and electrical appliances. All other parts and components were removed as well. We removed damaged insulation from the firewall.

  It was not foreseen total car dismantling and we could not use sand blasting for engine compartment cleaning. We did it manually. Rust from damaged surfaces also was cleaned manually. On the left side at the front under the battery holder bracket under the debris we found rusted through hole at the junction of the front left longeron and inner wing panel. There will be needed to weld in patch panel.

All welding spots of damaged front panel were separated ensuring return to the initial shape of front panel. As needed shape was achieved all separated welding spots again were welded together.

Body was sent to paint shop.
