Disassembly, defects detection and compiling parts list

Damaged by corrosion areas were cleaned in the sandblast camera.

Recess at the left side of the luggage compartment was rusted through.

Brake callipers were disassembled for defects detection.

Steering gear was disassembled for defects detection.

Unrepairable damaged components were added to the required parts list.

Front axle was disassembled for defects detection.

All control instruments and gauges were dismantled for defects detection.

All chromed decorations had defects caused by corrosion so need for re-plating was obvious.

Door window mechanisms were disassembled for defects detection.

Damaged components were send to galvanizing workshop for treatment.

Prepared for further activities parts were sorted according to following treatment – galvanizing or painting.

Control elements were disassembled for further treatment.

Electrical appliances were disassembled for defects detection.
