Initial condition and work order

Vehicle arrived to the workshop in partly disassembled state.

No motor and transmission was in the engine compartment.

There was no floor in the passenger compartment and speedometer was from another car.

Rear brakes were stuck and we had to remove the brake drums to get the car from the delivery vehicle without assistance of the forklift.

Some interior trimming parts were delivered loose.

All body panels and elements had some kind of damages.

All wings over the wheel openings were cracked.

Restoration contract of Healey Alvis (1953) VIN G523 anticipated disassembling, complete restoration and assembling of the car, as far as possible preserving existing original components and parts.
