The technical reassembly phase of the Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 6.3 w109 restoration at Riga Master Workshop has progressed with the installation of the vehicle's rear glazing. This week, our technicians successfully mounted the rear window into the refurbished body shell using a new factory-specification rubber seal.
Technical attention was focused on the integration of the rear window heating system, including the careful routing and connection of the electrical supply lines to ensure full functionality. Additionally, mounting clips for the exterior chrome trim were positioned around the window aperture prior to final finishing. This installation ensures the cabin is weather-sealed before upcoming functional tests.
