The technical assessment of the Mercedes Benz 250SL w113 restoration project began upon the car's arrival at the Riga Master Workshop. The car has standard American-market specifications, including an automatic transmission and optional air conditioning.
The technical documentation confirms factory equipment: paint code 501H "Oriental Red," interior code 116 (MB-Tex, Caviar-colored seats 2100 with black 6125 Tufting carpets), and a black 872 soft top.
We agreed on the price and terms of the restoration with the owner. The owner entrusted us with a complete restoration of this car according to Classic Data Grade 2 standards.
Our team prepared a detailed condition report, identifying areas of corrosion on the rear quarter panels and bumpers requiring structural attention.
