Actual report

The engineering stage of the Steyr Daimler Puch 230GE restoration has moved to final powertrain dress-up and climate retrofitting.
As captured in the progress photographs, the high-output alternator and core cooling radiator have been securely mounted using custom-fabricated bracketry. This week we started instal the air condition system units in the engine compartment, integrating the condenser unit directly ahead of the cooling core. This setup fulfills one of the car owner wishes to upgrade the car with the air condition system. Initial pressure testing of the sealed circuit was performed using standard manifold gauges, yielding an optimal vent output temperature of 8.4°C.
