Workshop Progress Report: Rear Exterior Assembly Phase
The technical report documents ongoing body and hardware fitment for the Steyr Daimler Puch 230GE restoration project.
This text will describe photographs of the car assembling as work focused on completing the rear superstructure and auxiliary equipment. This week we installed the rear exterior parts, mounting the heavy-duty tubular canopy support cage and securing its alignment over the rear cargo bed. Technicians also assembled the rear license plate light module with new festive bulbs and wiring harnesses, and securely bolted the swing-away rear spare wheel carrier and Jerry can bracket, featuring its embossed upper trim bar, onto the reinforced rear quarter panel.
