The technical progress report details the ongoing reassembly stage of the Steyr Daimler Puch 230GE restoration project.
Work during the past week centered on external body fitment and panel alignment across the vehicle’s chassis. The accompanying photographs document the step-by-step fitting process as technicians aligned and secured the exterior body trim. This week we installed the fenders, utilizing specialized locking pliers, protective masking tape, and precise clamping methods to establish uniform panel gaps and proper wheel arch clearance before final fastening.
