Actual report

The technical Steyr Daimler Puch 230GE restoration at Riga Master Workshop has progressed to the integration of primary body closures. This week, we assembled the hood and prepared all for its installation onto the refurbished chassis.
As detailed in the technical photographs, the process involved overhauling the hood latch assemblies and emergency safety catches. Our specialists prepared the hood-mounted ventilation grille, plastic intake inserts, and spring-loaded lock pins using zinc-plated hardware and fresh rubber dampeners. The cabin-mounted hood release lever and associated actuation cable were also installed and verified for smooth operation. The completed hood unit is now ready for final hinge mounting and gap adjustment.
