Actual report

The technical reassembly of the Steyr Daimler Puch 230GE restoration has focused on the complex integration of the vehicle's door systems. This week, our technicians successfully assembled the doors and prepared them for installation on the car by installing fully refurbished internal locking mechanisms, latch assemblies, and tension springs.
As documented in the photographs, we also integrated the restored exterior door handles and precisely aligned the mechanical linkage rods to ensure factory-standard operational tolerances. Concurrently, the heavy-duty door hinges were mounted to the chassis pillars, ensuring proper structural alignment before the final hanging of the door panels. These completed sub-assemblies mark a significant step toward finalizing the vehicle's cabin enclosure.
