The Steyr Daimler Puch 230GE restoration has reached a technical milestone in the interior reassembly phase. This week’s progress focused on the systematic installation of various interior covers and access panels within the cabin and rear cargo area.
As documented in the latest technical photographs, we have securely mounted the primary inspection covers and finalized the placement of multiple rubber grommets to ensure airtight and weather-resistant sealing. Our technicians also integrated the protective panels for the internal side structures and the central fuel system access point. These steps are critical for maintaining cabin integrity and period-correct aesthetics before the final trim installation.
