Car assembly and final tests

Dismounted trim parts and interior components necessary for assembling process were uncased from the storage.

New rubber seal was used for rear window installation.

Ceiling trim panels were first interior components returned to the place.

Before interior decorations were installed dismounted electrical appliances were fixed in passenger compartment.

Trimming at the rear part of the interior was returned to the place and rear seats were fixed into place.

Electrical installation and interior trimming at the front part of passenger compartment were reconstructed.

Windscreen trim was installed as well as panel with ventilation lattice and washer nozzles.

Front bumper including previously missing end-piece was installed, as well as one new European headlight until the moment supplied by owner.

Rear bumper and rear lamps were fixed in place.

 Broken sections of wires were repaired. After soldering all joints were covered by fusible insulator shrouds.

We produced steal leaver units for door locking system instead of broken plastic pieces to improve reliability.

Door window glasses and frames were assembled together; door mechanisms were adjusted after installation. Door electric control and acoustic systems were installed and tested.   

After trim installation whole door control system was tested. We continued assembly installing and fixing floor carpeting elements.

All seat mechanisms located in the seat basement were connected to electric harness and tested. Assembling of the front row seats was finished.

External rear view mirrors were repaired and installed.

 Luggage compartment lid was trimmed. Lid was attached to the hinge arms and adjusted.

Luggage compartment trim panels were placed in previous position. All devices located in the luggage compartment were connected to the electrical harness.

Installation of the external decorations at the rear part of the car was completed.

Upon interior assembling finishing proper operation of all components and mechanisms was tested.

Central and rear parts of the exhaust system were repaired to achieve correct operation.

  New paint on the external surfaces was polished. Trimming lines on the both sides of the body were restored.

  After the test drive body was cleaned and protective coating was applied finishing final treatment by fine surface polishing. Interior was also cleaned and reconditioned.

As restoration tasks were completed vehicle was forwarded to the owner.
