Initial condition of the car 

This 2-seat coupe with removable hardtop and softtop has been manufactured for the U.S. market, where it operated before it was re-exported to the European Union, the Netherlands, where it underwent a partial restoration. At the time of purchase the car was relatively in good condition - restored body painting has not been badly damaged, the car could drive, and the key systems were in working condition. To obtain permission to participate in road traffic, it was only necessary to weld the substantially corrosion-damaged areas in the floor, eliminate oil leakage, adjust engine and make repairs of the external lighting devices.
 

Unfortunately, the interior trimming made of synthetic material "MB-tex" lost its original respectable appearance, had already begun to tear and split when the car came to RMW disposal. 

After test of operability of all car units, it is stated that a number of devices on the control panel performs only the function of plugs for holes in the panel - clock, radio and air conditioner do not work Operability of the interior ventilation system was questionable judging from the noise when the fan operated. Many details of the external trim finishes were damaged.
