Engine and engine auxiliaries repair

During dismantling of the engine on the removed components, we performed defect detection followed by necessary repairs.

Inner cavities of the cooling system were quite lull with sediments, so we washed the system.

We repaired brackets of the wire organizers and polished surface.

It seemed pump of the cooling system was recently replaced.

We cleaned pump before installation.

We found too much sediment in the oil pan, so it was necessary to rinse the oil system.

Screws of the oil pan were tightened with excessive torque, so additional sealant did not help to eliminate oil leakage – we had to replace damaged oil pan and install new seal.

Air filter body was smashed applying to much torque on cover screws.

We bought necessary parts for repair of units placed in the engine compartment.

There was serious leakage of gasoline from carburettor, so we removed it for detailed inspection.

We bought repair kit dedicated for this model of carburettor.

We completely disassembled carburettor for cleaning.

We used new parts from repair kit assembling overhauled carburettor.

We removed inlet manifold for cleaning.

We started preparation of the engine for installation.

We installed reconditioned components onto the engine.

We installed pump of the power steering onto the motor and accordingly changed pulleys.

We preassembled new motor - Ford 302 V8 Performance, balanced 28oz., build with Keith Black pistons and moly rings, true roller timing, hydraulic rollercam with lifters, roller rockers, ARP-rod bolts, Edelbrock 2091 top end kit with aluminium heads and intake and a Herbert Racing roller camshaft.

We ordered new carburettor suitable for the chosen motor.

During season, there were noticed difficulties to engage the starter because of worn out teeth of the flexplate ring.

We ordered new flexplate to fix the problem with engagement of the starter.

We installed new carburettor.

We prepared new powerplant for installation.

Radiator core had numerous leakage spots.

We ordered new radiator to eliminate coolant leakage and cooling problems.
