Assembling and final tests

As painting of the body was completed we started assembling of the vehicle.

First body was separated from the transport rig.

We started installation of the preassembled components of the running gear.

As ordered parts arrived, we continued assembling of the car.

We installed restored steering gear into the engine compartment.

We finished assembling of the front suspension and attached wheels.

We installed restored pedal unit and attached new master cylinder and braking pipework.

We connected braking lines to the front wheels.

We installed piping under the body to join all respective components.

We removed tested power plant from our test rig and immersed it into the body continuing assembling of the engine compartment.

We continued assembling of the car using restored components and new parts.

We installed restored components of the bumpers.

We placed huge ventilation system hoses in the engine compartment.

We installed restored heater module and heating control system elements.

We installed all restored parts of the engine hood latch mechanism.

Under the body, we assembled restored gearshift and emergency braking mechanisms.

Before installation, we had to rework rear section of the exhaust piping to avoid interference with emergency brake cable.

We connected piping to the master cylinder and filled up braking system.

Following description, we self-manufactured and installed previously missing heat screen protecting master cylinder.

We finished installation of the front-end brightwork.

Reconditioned gauges are again on the dash.

We connected all appliances to the new wiring.

UWe installed all prepared decorations onto the dashboard.

We finished installation of the appliances belonging to the engine compartment.

We finished installation and adjustments of the front axle components.

We adjusted controls of the transmission and filled up oil.

We finished installation of the exhaust system.

We installed new battery and checked function of the components.

We received new front screen.

As necessary adjustments on running gear were completed, we went for our first test drive.

We installed new windscreen.

We assembled door windows using restored galvanized brackets.

We assembled door locking and window winding mechanisms.

We installed complete new weather-stripping package.

We carried out necessary adjustments of the door mechanisms towards windscreen posts.

We affixed new carpets in the passenger compartment.

We manufactured and installed new cover for folding top.

We produced and affixed in place new insulation mat under the bonnet.

We prepared frame of the folding top for installation.

We attached new hooding to the restored frame.

We checked functionality of the restored top.

We affixed in place all ancillaries of the folding top.

We returned in place restored heater unit.

We attached new carpets and other comfort items residing on the tunnel.

Resorted seats returned into working position.

We installed all elements of the external decoration.

We started or test riving program.

We checked function of all other components as well. Necessary adjustments were carried out.

We prepared finished car to the hand-over event.

Engine compartment detailed to the original state.

 Last checks on running gear.

New grille and hood moulding installed.

Restored decorations at the rear end and new luggage compartment lock.

Restored front bumper and other decorations.

Reconditioned door handles.

Restored external decorations on the sides of the body. 

New hood in place.

Restored steering wheel and gauges.

Restored controls are fully functional.

Restored door chromed decorations – inner and outer.

Restored seats – new padding and trim over restored carcasses.

New rubber mats with authentic logo.

Restoration completed.

Ready for hand-over.
