Initial condition and work order

Car was not in running condition upon arrival to the workshop. First drivability was restored to check overall condition of the vehicle.

During test drive were taken notes on functioning of various car systems.

 We checked compression in all cylinders. Visual defects detection was started from the bottom of the car.

Left rear spring was in wrong position touching body. Shock absorber attachment also was functioning in wrong way.

There was oil leakage from gearbox. There was unacceptable oil leakage from the engine.

 Paint layer was falling off the main gear housing. There was notable oil leakage from main gear.

Engine suspension bellows were cracked.

 Brake fluid canister was rusty and leaking. Main braking cylinder seemed in decent condition.

  There was notable oil leakage from steering gear. There were not installed turning angle limiters so wheels on turns were scratching along the steering arms. Steering joints seals needed replacement.

 Wheel braking mechanisms were in decent condition. Brake drums were not worn out. Braking mechanism base plates just were rusty.

Braking system pipelines were lacking attachments to the frame.

Wires and pipelines were attached to the frame by temporary straps. Fuel lines were not correctly attached. Pipes were touching sharp edges of the car structure.

 Suspension was rusty. Some unfixed wires were damaged by spider joint.

Engine hood had a crack at the side flange.

There were cracks at the front nose of the body. It was needed to remove paint to find out is it crack in metal or just in filler.

There were many paint damages along the engine compartment edge. Paint was damaged on the rear edge of the doors.

Exhaust attachment bracket was separated from the body and it was needed to weld it back in place. It was needed to restore reinforcement crossbar welding seem.

There were several corrosion spots under the wings.

 There were several unplugged holes in the luggage compartment to penetrate the mud. Without carpet spare wheel had been damaged paint of floor.

Roof attachment pins were falling out of the attachment places.

Glue was not keeping in place luggage compartment seal. Door sealing rubbers were falling off.

 Carpet was damaged on the central tunnel. Dashboard was broken in the central part.

Interior trimming was showing still acceptable level of wear.

Air ducts under the dash were damaged.

There were several damages on interior trimming panels covered by synthetic material.

Door aluminium carcass was broken.

There was missing filler pipe shield in luggage compartment.

Poor painting quality in luggage compartment was obvious. Floor hatches were seriously damaged by rust.

At the rear part of the body were clearly visible several spots of faded paint.
